After graduating with a degree in economics, Andreas Treichl completed several trainee programmes in New York where he started his banking career in 1977 at Chase Manhattan Bank. Over a period of 15 years he worked in Brussels, Athens and Vienna for Chase in various management positions – including credit and corporate clients. Andreas Treichl is the Chairman of the Board of Curators of MAK Museum of Applied Arts, Vienna, Member of the boards of the International Monetary Conference (IMC) and of the Institute of International Finance (IIF), and also a member of the Trilateral Commission European Region. Aniruddha Joshi – brings thirty years of senior international management experience to HIRCO group. He has worked for extended periods in Japan, Singapore, New Zealand, Oman, Barbados, and India and presently is in the USA. After graduating from the London School of Economics, Joshi started his career in banking in India and Japan. After ten years in banking he joined Reuters, and during 15 years held a number of senior positions, including Managing Director, South East Asia.
Barbara Murray is Senior Disability Specialist in the International Labour Office Skills and Employability Department, working primarily on disability issues in training and employment. She is involved in advocacy work, research and publications on good practice in training and employment of disabled persons; capacity building and providing policy advice to governments and social partners in relation to laws and policies concerning persons with disabilities. She coordinates several technical cooperation projects relating to the training and employment of disabled persons in East Africa and South East Asia. She was involved in the development of the ILO Code of Practice on Managing Disability in the Workplace, and represented ILO at meetings of the Ad Hoc Committee charged with developing the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) . She represents the ILO on the UN Inter-Agency Group for the CRPD, and was involved in preparing a guidance note for UN agencies including the rights of persons with disabilities in UN programming at country level, endorsed in 2010 by the UN Development Group. She also represents the ILO in the management of the UN Partnership on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, the multi-donor trust fund established to support the implementation of the CRPD at a country level.
Brian Kearney-Grieve is the Programme Executive for Reconciliation and Human Rights Programme at Atlantic Philanthropies in the Republic of Ireland. Since joining Atlantic in 2001 Brian has managed grants programmes in the areas of higher education, human rights, migration, disability and sexual orientation. He is a steering committee member of the European Consortium of Foundations on Human Right and Disabilities, an Advisory Board member of Ariadne, the European Network of Human Rights Funders, and the current vice-chair of the European Programme on Integration and Migration. Before joining Atlantic he worked in South Africa and Ireland for PricewaterhouseCoopers in their Management Consulting Services’ Strategic Change unit specialising in the areas of change management, organisation design and performance improvement in both the private and public sectors. He has established and run successful NGOs specialising in the areas of micro-enterprise finance and development, employment creation and youth reconciliation in South Africa. He has also worked as a financial director for an educational institute and acted as a consultant in the area of micro lending to South African foundations.
Ferhan Cook is the co-founder of London-based m-Spark.org, a newly created virtual start-up accelerator and advisory, designed to help social entrepreneurs in strategic business modeling, investor pitching and partnership/investor matching. m-spark.org focuses especially on mobile and internet powered social impact projects, across the world as well as in Turkey. Cook is also a founding member of Galata Business Angels, Turkey’s first angel network, for the past 3 years. Cook is interested helping building bridges between regular investors and impact investors, and to help grow this emerging social impact ecosystems in developing regions.With over 25 years of experience of international deal-making and marketing, 11 of which in digital media and international product marketing and business development at Apple in California and Paris, Ferhan Cook, is helping entrepreneurs in international access and investor access in Turkey or other international markets. During 10 years from 2000 and 2010, Cook has created and executive produced digital media conferences of MIPTV and MIPCOM TV markets in Cannes, France, in addition to digital strategy and business development consulting. She served on various international juries such as the International Interactive Emmys, Korean GMCA awards, the MIPCOM Mobile TV Awards and the Content 360 Cross Media Festival at MIPCOM and MIPTV where she evaluated thousands of creative digital content and mobile apps.
Gerard Quinn is the director of the Centre for Disability Law and Policy at the National University of Ireland (Galway). He is a member of the Council of State of Ireland which advises the President on constitutional matters. He sat for two full terms on the Irish Human Rights Commission (2002-2011) and is a former Director of Research at the Irish Government’s Law Reform Commission.He also sat as First Vice-President of the Council of Europe's treaty monitoring body on economic and social rights (European Committee on Social Rights: 2001–2006) where he developed its jurisprudence on the rights of older people and persons with disabilities. He headed the delegation of Rehabilitation International at the Working Group that drafted the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (2002–2007). He sits on many international advisory boards including those of Interights and the SOROS-Open Society Foundation. He was named by the Irish Government as a 'Champion of EU Research' in 2012. Quinn is a barrister-at-law and a graduate of Harvard Law School.
Hannes Ametsreiter began his professional career as a brand manager with Procter & Gamble, before joining product management at mobilkomaustria in 1996. In 2001, he was appointed Chief Marketing Officer of mobilkomaustria. and, successively, he held the position of CMO of Mobiltel in Bulgaria. Hannes Ametsreiter was then appointed Chief Marketing Officer of Telekom Austria TA AG and then CEO of Telekom Austria Fixed Net. He has also served as Chairman of the Management Board and CEO of Telekom Austria Group. He is also the CEO of A1, which was created following the merger of mobilkomaustria AG and Telekom Austria TA AG. In 2008 Booz & Company awarded Hannes Ametsreiter with the international Marketing Award „CMO of the Year“. As the only Austrian he has been called to the international board of the worldwide industry association „GSMA“.
Lennart Grebelius has built a diverse career as an entrepreneur, social investor, venture capitalist and artist. He founded the investment company, Sätila Holding AB and the engagements in social entrepreneurship began to materialize. Lennart has invested in and participated in companies including Faktum (street paper), Biobolsa, Fair Tailor, Mitt Liv, and Powerfy. Moreover, he started a Property Investment Company, Sätila Holding AB. Today Grebelius portfolio includes properties in Stockholm, Gothenburg, and London. Grebelius has attracted an increasing interest in his art through combining his passion for art, philosophy and science. Primarily focusing on creating books, Grebelius reflects on the wonder of existence. Art, philosophy and its relation to man is a common theme throughout Grebelius work.
Lourdes Marquez de la Calleja
Lourdes Marquez de la Calleja has a Law Degree and a Master in Leadership and Management of Foundations and other nonprofits entities from the Autonoma University of Madrid (UAM). From 2001 to 2005 she worked as a consultant in the Public Administration unit of CapGemini. Since 2005, she is Head of Social Relations and Strategic Planning of the Foundation ONCE, which wants to ensure the social inclusion of people with disabilities. She is responsible for the coordination of the training-the-trainers programme as well as for the development of proposals to public tenders, the counsel and legal reporting and the coordination of the IT testing department. In 2010 she earned an Executive Master of Business Administration in the Institute of Higher Business Studies (IESE Business School). She published several articles and speeches on issues related to Foundations and Disabilities.
Martin Essl is CEO and Chairman of the Management Board of bauMax Group. In 2007, he founded the Essl Social Prize, an annual international award for social initiatives that offers sustainable support to those who help people in need. Mr. Essl first joined the Schömer bauMax group in 1984 as a Management Assistant where he built a controlling and cost accounting system and developed an enterprise resource planning system. He also served as the Managing Director and Vice-Chairman of the Management Board of the Schömer bauMax Group from 1989 until 1999.
Max Maendler, Founder and Chief Optimist of Regis24.de, is a Berlin-based Entrepreneur and Business Angel. In 2003, together with Martin Specht, Max founded Regis24, a leading German provider of Customer Contact and Credit Solutions. Having bootstrapped the company and grown it to over 100 employees, he now is convinced that entrepreneurial success comes from a healthy mixture of overestimating one's capabilities, perseverance and sheer luck. He currently also serves on the Advisory Boards of Sofatutor.com and SavingGlobal.com and as the Berlin Chapter President of the Entrepreneurs' Organization EO.
Susan Scott-Parker is the founder and Chief Executive of Business Disability Forum. This is the world’s leading employers’ organisation working to the mutual benefit of business and people with disabilities. Susan has an international reputation as an authoritative advocate for the business advantages of disability confidence and leads Business Disability Forum’s global Technology Taskforce. Business Disability Forum has nearly 400 members who employ around 20% of the UK workforce and millions of people worldwide. Our mission is to enable companies to become disability confident by making it easier to recruit and retain disabled employees and do business with disabled customers. Business Disability Forum now sets the standard by which an employer benchmarks its performance in all aspects of disability as it affects a business.
Waltraud Martius is an active co-founder of the "Austrian Franchise Association" (ÖFV) and since 1986 in an honorary capacity in the board of directors. In 2008 the honorary presidency was lent her. For 20 years she is a lecturer at universities and advanced colleges in the German-speaking space and has transmitted her experiences in countless talks in Europe as well as in the USA, India and China. She is a co-editor of the book appeared in 2003 "Franchising – Die Königsklasse der Vertriebssysteme (Franchise - The king's class of the distribution systems)" and author of the book „Fairplay Franchising“, which has appeared in 2008 and assecond edition in 2010 in the Gabler publishing company. In 2011 she was elected senator of the “Economic Senate” and works as a Pro Bono-Expert for ASHOKA International.
